1) Who we are & scope

“IbiPoint”, “we”, “us” means IbiPoint Ltd (128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom).

These Terms cover all of the following:

Our mobile apps display the IbiPoint eSIM Shop within an in-app browser. The same Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy apply whether you access the shop via web browser or app.

By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2) Eligibility & your responsibilities

  • You confirm you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and are legally able to enter contracts.
  • Provide accurate information at checkout and keep it up to date.
  • Use the eSIM on a compatible, unlocked device. (Tip: check your device supports eSIM before buying.)
  • Don’t misuse the Services — no fraud, reselling, or unlawful activity.

3) Our products

eSIM plans

We sell prepaid eSIM data plans for international travellers. Each plan includes a specified data allowance, validity period, and coverage area. All eSIM plans are one-time purchases — there are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or automatic renewals.

Service characteristics & limitations

Our eSIM plans provide mobile data connectivity through local carrier networks in the destination country. Actual speeds, latency, and coverage depend on the local carrier’s infrastructure, your location, network congestion, signal conditions, and your device. These factors are outside our control.

Our service is designed for general internet use such as browsing, email, messaging, maps, social media, and streaming. It is not optimised for latency-sensitive applications such as real-time online gaming, high-frequency trading, or similar use cases that require consistently low ping times. This is a characteristic of mobile data networks in general and is not specific to our service.

eSIM top-ups

For eligible eSIM plans, we offer one-time top-up packages that extend your data allowance or validity. Top-ups are applied instantly to your existing eSIM and are separate purchases from the original plan. Top-ups are also one-time purchases with no recurring charges.

4) Orders, pricing & taxes

  • Prices are displayed in your selected currency before payment and may include or exclude taxes depending on your location and applicable law.
  • Displayed prices in currencies other than our base currency are approximate conversions. The final charge may vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations or your bank’s conversion rate.
  • Your order is accepted once payment clears. We may cancel and refund if an obvious pricing or availability error occurs.
  • Invoices or receipts are emailed to the address you provide at checkout.

5) Digital delivery

eSIMs are delivered digitally — usually by email and/or on-screen — as a QR code with activation instructions. Delivery is immediate after successful payment unless we need a short manual review (rare but possible for security reasons).

  • Compatibility: Please confirm your device supports eSIM before purchasing. We’ll gladly help if you’re unsure — just ask us before buying.
  • Activation: Once an eSIM is activated (scanned/installed), it is considered used. Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
  • Top-ups: Top-up packages are applied instantly to your existing eSIM once payment is confirmed.

Delivery issues

If your eSIM is not delivered within a reasonable time after payment (typically within minutes), please contact us at [email protected]. If we are unable to deliver your eSIM due to a confirmed technical problem on our side, you are entitled to a full refund.

6) EU / EEA / UK — Right of withdrawal for digital content

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and equivalent UK regulations, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

However, because our eSIM products are digital content delivered without a tangible medium, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You give your express consent for delivery to begin immediately after purchase.
  • You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the eSIM profile has been activated (scanned or installed on your device).

This section applies to consumers in the European Union, European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom. It does not limit any additional rights you may have under mandatory local consumer law.

7) Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe, a regulated payment services provider. Stripe supports a wide range of payment methods including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Alipay, Amazon Pay, and others. The available methods may vary by region.

Stripe and its payment partners perform anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering (AML) checks, including identity verification and transaction screening, as required by law.

We never see or store your full payment card details — only the transaction result needed to deliver your eSIM.

All charges are one-time only. We do not offer subscriptions or recurring billing.

8) Refunds & cancellations

We want you to be happy with your purchase.

  • Unactivated eSIMs: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for eSIMs that have not been installed or activated.
  • Activated eSIMs: Refunds are generally not possible once an eSIM has been activated, except where required by applicable law or in case of a verified technical issue on our side.
  • Top-up purchases: Top-ups are applied instantly and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or in case of a confirmed delivery failure.
  • Delivery failure: If we are unable to deliver your eSIM or top-up due to a technical problem on our side, you are entitled to a full refund.

9) Chargebacks

If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We can solve nearly all issues directly and promptly.

Unjustified chargebacks for successfully delivered eSIMs or top-ups may be disputed with the payment processor and can lead to account restrictions or refusal of future service.

10) Communications

We send the following transactional emails related to your order. These are not marketing and do not require separate consent:

  • Order confirmation and invoice
  • eSIM delivery with QR code and activation instructions
  • Service status notification when your plan expires, which may include a brief option to top up or leave a review
  • Payment failure notification (if applicable)

Marketing emails (optional)

We may offer the option to subscribe to promotional communications during checkout. Marketing emails are strictly opt-in and are only sent if you give express consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing [email protected].

11) Privacy, cookies & consent

We respect your privacy. Essential cookies keep the shop running; analytics and marketing cookies are optional and fully under your control.

12) Fair use & prohibited activity

  • No interfering with service operation, security, or other customers.
  • No unlawful use, spam, or attempts to bypass technical controls.
  • No reselling of purchased eSIMs or commercial redistribution without our written permission.

13) Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse or restrict service, cancel orders, or block access to our Services if we reasonably believe that a transaction is fraudulent, involves a stolen payment method, violates these Terms, or poses a risk to our platform, payment processors, or other customers.

14) Intellectual property

Our websites, apps, branding, designs, and software are owned by IbiPoint or our licensors. You may use them only to access and enjoy the Services under these Terms. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

15) Availability & changes

We strive for continuous service but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, pricing, and these Terms when needed. If changes are important, we’ll clearly announce them on our website.

16) Warranties & liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

17) Dispute resolution

EU / EEA consumers

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board, but will consider doing so on a case-by-case basis.

18) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Courts of England & Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence, where applicable. In particular, if you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, Australia, Japan, or any other jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws, those protections continue to apply regardless of this clause.
