Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the app “Tap or Fault” handles data. The principle: your game data stays on your device. There is no user account, no advertising tracking, and no sale of data.

1. Who we are

Tap or Fault is operated by Ibipoint Ltd, 124-128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: contact@ibipoint.com.

2. Game data (stored locally)

Reaction times, best lists, sessions and settings are stored exclusively on your device (app storage). This data is not transmitted to us or to third parties. Deleting the app removes it.

3. Motion sensor (Ambush mode)

In Ambush mode the app reads the device’s motion sensor to detect when the phone is held still. These readings are evaluated only at runtime inside the game — they are not stored and not transmitted. The mode can be turned off in the settings.

4. Purchases (Pro)

The optional one-time “Pro” purchase is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processing and the associated data are managed by the respective store. To validate and restore the purchase we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) as a processor. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user ID and purchase receipts — no name, no email address, no advertising ID. Details: revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Global leaderboard (optional)

If you submit a score to the global leaderboard, that score and the display name you choose are stored on our leaderboard backend so other players can see the ranking. No other personal data is collected for the leaderboard. Playing without submitting scores is always possible.

6. No tracking, no ad networks

The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics trackers and no fingerprinting. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID). The menu contains a plainly-labeled in-house note about another Ibipoint product; tapping it simply opens ibipoint.com in your browser.

7. External links

The menu can open the website ibipoint.com. Its content and data processing are covered by the website’s own privacy policy.

8. Your rights

Since we hold no account data about you, there is usually nothing for us to disclose or delete. Local data can be removed at any time by resetting inside the game or deleting the app. For leaderboard entries or any questions, contact contact@ibipoint.com and we will remove your entry.

9. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when new features ship. The current version is always available in the app and at ibipoint.com/tapfault/privacy.
